Island Rose

One of my favorite lounges to relax in at Walt Disney World is the Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian. The hand-crafted cocktails are unique and there is something to suit any palate. You cannot go wrong an old-fashioned (they have a seasonal old-fashioned with handmade seasonal syrup), or martini (they offer 6 different types), but this lovely drink is the Island Rose. The Island Rose is made with Ketel One Grapefruit and Rose vodka, Lime, Orgeat (Almond), Pineapple, Bitters, and Rose Water and it. is. delicious.

They also have some delicious small plates, including a cheese plate, truffle fries, and brisket and bleu cheese sliders if you are hungry. They are all wonderful!

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar

Such a dreamy night ?this is the “Anything Goes,” made with byejoe dragon fire spirit, fresh lime juice, passion fruit, and pineapple juice from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs. Need a snack to go with your drink? I recommend the Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel–a charcuterie board built in the openings of a massive soft pretzel ?

“Fall”ing for Epcot

The weather is cooling off a little where I live and it is obvious that fall weather is just around the corner. With fall comes the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration, and a trip I started planning almost a year ago. Due to the current circumstances, I recently cancelled that trip. Although I had been looking forward to being there on October 1st, the celebration goes on through 2022, so I will have other opportunities to celebrate.

One thing I purchased in anticipation of the cooler weather is this Lost Bros Drink Around the World sweatshirt. I have a couple of Drink Around the World t-shirts, but this seemed like to perfect thing to keep cozy after the sun sets on the World Showcase. After I opened the Lost Bros package, I realized how perfect my retro Epcot ears from DreamItDoItDesignCo matched it!

Although I won’t be able to wear this outfit while I drink around the world just yet, I know I will be back there soon and can’t wait for that day.
